Throughout his career, Ross Haynes has combined a successful litigation practice with active community involvement. A fiscal conservative and staunch social liberal, Ross is well known to CBC audiences for his three-year stint on the weekly TV news panel, Canada Now: Politics Now, and his regular radio commentaries.

Ross has held executive roles in many community groups. He is also an avid cyclist, raising thousands of dollars for the MS Society during its annual cycling events, and increasing heart health awareness as a member of the Heartland Tour cross-province cycling team. Ross has been active with both the Conservative Party of Canada and the Progressive Conservative Party of Nova Scotia, and chairs the PCNS Fund. He is a frequent speaker, panelist and lecturer on a broad variety of legal and insurance matters.

Before attending Saint Mary’s University and Dalhousie Law School, Ross served for five years in the Royal Canadian Navy.

Debbie Brown

Debbie is from Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she graduated from Dalhousie Law School in 1998. Debbie also attended Mount Saint Vincent University, receiving her Legal Secretarial Diploma in 1988 and Bachelor of Office Administration in 1995. While attending Dalhousie Law School, Debbie spent a term with the Dalhousie Legal Aid Service and was awarded the Sarah MacWalker MacKenzie Clinical Law Award.

Debbie was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1999 and has appeared at all levels of court in Nova Scotia. In 2007, Debbie also became a member of the New Brunswick Bar and has been actively practicing in both jurisdictions since that time. She has focused on the areas of civil and commercial litigation.

Debbie is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, Law Society of New Brunswick, Canadian Bar Association and the Nova Scotia Insurance Women’s Association. She is also a mentor with the Dalhousie Association of Women and the Law (DAWL).

Debbie enjoys running and has often participated in the Blue Nose 10K.

Franco Tarulli

Franco brings to his practice over a decade of litigation experience, along with a background in real estate and property management. A graduate of the University of Alberta, first with a Bachelor of Commerce degree then a Bachelor of Laws, Franco worked in his home town of Edmonton as a sole practitioner prior to his move to Nova Scotia in 2007.

Now a member of the Bars of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Alberta, Franco’s practice involves all areas of insurance litigation, including bodily injury, errors and omissions, property and casualty, and coverage matters.

In his spare time, Franco has been working on his language skills, quickly moving to add fluency in French to his already fluent Italian. As well, he is an enthusiastic amateur photographer, who enjoys exploring Nova Scotia’s lakes by kayak whenever he can.

Selina Bath

Selina completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at the University of Prince Edward Island. While there she participated in the Co-operative Education Program and worked within both provincial and federal government. She then moved to Halifax to attend Dalhousie Law School. She graduated in 2007, and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2008.

Selina's practice focuses on various areas of insurance litigation. As part of her ongoing professional development she regularly attends workshops and courses put on by the organizations of which she is a member. Those include the Canadian Bar Association, Canadian Defence Lawyers, Nova Scotia Insurance Women's Association, and the Insurance Institute.

In her spare time, Selina reads the latest selections for her book club and sings in a local chorus.
